Guidelines for E Poster

  • All posters should be uploaded in the system by October 25th, 2024
  • Following information should be provided

    TITLE:
    NAME OF THE PRESENTING AUTHOR UNDERLINED
    Size of the poster should be restricted to less than 10 MB
    Poster should be in Portrait mode
    Font size should be minimum of 28, text used should be Times New Roman, Arial or Calibri. Wordings should be easy to read, shouldn’t be crowded.
    Figures, tables and clinical pictures should be clear.
    It is the responsibility of the authors to take appropriate patient consent.
  • Conflicts of interest and acknowledgements should be mentioned.

Guidelines for Award Paper


Rules:
  • Do not mention your name, colleagues, faculty, college, place anywhere in the presentation
  • Just the title of your study to be put in the title slide
  • You will be assigned numbers during presentation
  • There is no restriction in number of slides
  • Kindly keep animations to basic minimum. Videos not allowed.
  • For original studies – follow the structure of background, aims, method, results, conclusion
  • For case studies – introduction, cases, conclusion
  • Conflict of interest if any, to be mentioned.
  • Time for Award Paper: 7 minutes for original study and 6 minutes for case series
  • Evaluation will be based on all aspects including merit of the study, presentation, preparation of slide, adherence to time.

Guidelines for Free Paper


Rules:
  • Do not mention your name, colleagues, faculty, college, place anywhere in the presentation
  • Just the title of your study to be put in the title slide
  • You will be assigned numbers during presentation
  • There is no restriction in number of slides

  • Time for Free Paper: 5 + 1 minutes
  • Evaluation will be based on all aspects including merit of the study, presentation, preparation of slide, adherence to time.

Guidelines for Speaking Images

  • A speaking image is a clinical, histopathological or dermoscopic image withat was the most important, clinching image for diagnosis , treatment or prognostication of the disease.
  • Maximum 8 slides, including title slide
  • Maximum time: 4 minutes
  • The Speaking Image should clearly be mentioned in the presentation image, and should not be more than 2, however additional case related images can be shown.

PRESENTATION GUIDELINES: FREE & AWARD PAPERS, SPEAKING IMAGES, E POSTERS

  • Eligibility ends on September 30th, 2024
    Abstracts are to be submitted for following categories - Award Paper, Free Paper, E-Poster, Speaking Images.
    Award papers are open only for junior residents & young dermatologists less than 35 years of age (age-proof mandatory). The presenters should be PLMs/LMs of IADVL.
    Only original research studies or large case series (> 6 Cases) shall be considered for Award Paper.
    Free papers and E-posters are open to all delegates.
    Single case report will be considered as E-poster.
    Presenting author can submit a maximum of 2 abstracts for consideration (maximum one for award paper).
    All residents should submit a letter from the Head of Department certifying the authenticity of original work done and category of paper submission.
    The scientific committee reserves the discretion to change the category of award/free paper to e-poster. No further communication regarding this is entertained.

Guidelines for Abstract Submission

  • Prior registration to the conference is absolutely required.
  • Abstracts are to be submitted for following categories - Award Paper, Free Paper, E-Poster, Speaking Images.
  • Award papers are open only for junior residents & young dermatologists less than 35 years of age (age-proof mandatory). The presenters should be PLMs/LMs of IADVL.

Guidelines for Preparing Abstracts

  • Less than 250 words.
  • Structured Abstract.
  • Original Studies : Introduction - Objectives - Methods - Results - Conclusion.
  • Case Series : Introduction - Cases History - Conclusion.
  • E-Poster : Introduction - Cases History - Conclusion.
